Lt. Governor Divison 5 -- Brant Pewonka
Hello, my name is Brant Pewonka. I am currently a sophomore at Sidney Senior High School class of 2012. I enjoy being involved in a variety of activities. I am an active member of my church. I am in speech and drama, student council, Business Professionals of America, and of course key club! Key club is great, I started my freshman year and I just love it. I am so happy to be part of key club and am looking forward to being part of Kiwanis when I get older. I just love helping people and I think that is the main reason I joined key club to begin with. Every Monday I go to Crestwood and help elderly folks get their groceries. The experience not only helps people at Crestwood get their groceries but it helps me. I can’t express how happy it makes me to talk with them and to know that I am making a difference. I also go to bingo at the extended care in the Hospital. We have a blast! You wouldn’t believe how fun it is. Some of those people are just a hoot and to say the least, they are very high spirited. I didn’t know how intense bingo was until I went to the extend care! All in all serving the community is great! It not only greatly helps those who are in need of a pal, but it helps me by knowing that I am making a difference in someone’s life. I would just like to encourage everyone to get out there and serve, it’s an exhilarating experience. I can’t express how honored I am to be the new Lieutenant Governor for division 5.
